The owner David Yip is a man of conviction and creativity. His concept is filled with passion to convey dining at One Tea Lounge & Grill is a celebration of “food and life from the heart”. This inspiration is a legacy to his late Fiancée Daisy which David has wrote a tribute on http://www.onetealounge.com.au/aboutus/. His innovation first began with the famous Ramen Burger at 2013 Night Noodle Market and I loved it from the first bite. I have been hunting for David’s Ramen Burger ever since then and I was over the moon when I read One Tea Lounge & Grill had it!
Rating out of 5
Food: 5/5. The main emphasis is on matcha. You can expect matcha in majority of the drinks and food. I personally like that concept as I’m a big fan of matcha.
David personally made us test tube cocktails with dry ice as a welcome gift. It isn’t just a drink. It is the opening scene of a fun night filled with theatrical performances from the scrumptious food and drinks. We went for the $75 Set Menu B (7 dishes) as we wanted to eat everything on the menu!
